This rare moment of just the two of us–Brian and me–was snapped by Brian’s mom Barbara when we were sitting on the beach in San Diego’s Mission Bay. We were staring directly into blinding sun–the kind of southern California sun that we just don’t get in our northern climate. Barbara managed to get a shot with our eyes open, and here it is: Actual record of a moment in time without kids climbing all over us.
I have more photos to share soon of a few special experiences that our family had together on our vacation, but wanted to post this today because somehow it feels like a sweet notion to have one whole page dedicated to just us–together, happy, and close.
